2012 product road map

Based upon tons of valuable feedback and feature requests from our existing users, we are making several very exciting changes to our product that will further enhance the efficiency of your school health office. Here are just a few of the things that you have to look forward to in 2012:

Brand-New Tools & Functionality
  • IMMUNIZATION CENTER – Provides the ability to track and report on individual immunizations and administered dates.
  • MEDICATION CENTER – Provides the ability to track medications, including over-the-counter drugs and prescriptions. This new module will send alerts, such as prescription expiration dates, and provide inventory management capabilities.
  • STUDENT SELF CHECK-IN – Using a check-in station (a stand-alone computer or iPad, for instance) students will have the ability to select their name, as well as a reason (such as ‘stomach ache’) from a drop down list, to record a visit to the nurse’s office. A new nurse note will be created automatically, containing the date, time, student name, and reason for visit. The nurse may add or edit the information and will have access to a log of all of the visits during a given time frame.

Feature Enhancements
  • REVAMPED VITAL HEALTH RECORD – A simplified user interface makes the process of entering student health information more manageable for parents. Individual sections can now be saved one-at-a-time, giving parents the flexibility to complete the VHR in smaller increments. Schools can also set minimums for the number of emergency contacts, insurance providers, and healthcare providers.
  • PRINTING WIZARD FOR MAGNUS911 – This gives schools the option to select which sections of the Vital Heath Record can be viewed and printed on Magnus911 cards – allergy action plans, medications, emergency contacts, etc.
