Welcome to the Magnus Health marketing team page! This is the group that’s responsible for formulating the strategy and messaging behind Magnus Health’s communications with current and prospective customers.
Kathryn Sloop
Kathryn was among those here at Magnus that were not thrilled about having a bio and picture out on the world wide web; however, she managed (quite nicely, actually). As one of the original hires of the company, Kathryn has been on board for over five years – blossoming from a once shy, college intern to her present status, Queen of the office.
A graduate of North Carolina State University’s Poole College of Management, Kathryn has now settled into her role as Content Development Manager (“The Writer” for simplicity’s sake) and produces exceptional content for our various marketing materials and the Magnus Health website. She aspires to one day put her writing skills to the test in the entertainment industry; but that will come after she makes millions here, of course.
Kathryn grew up in Mount Ulla, NC, and was always certain she’d become a veterinarian. Funny how organic chemistry can change a person’s life plan. She also thinks it’s important to note that, though she’s from a small farming community, she chooses not to eat pork – because pigs are sweet and cute.
Amy Wallace
Amy is thrilled about being the newest member of the Magnus Health marketing ‘machine’ and has accepted the challenge of sharing the Magnus Health brand with the world (well…the U.S., for starters).
Amy attended the University of Georgia and holds a marketing degree from the Terry College of Business. She is also an active member of the Triangle Chapter of the American Marketing Association and serves as Secretary for their Board of Directors. A native of Athens, GA – the birthplace of R.E.M. and the B-52s – she relocated to North Carolina in 2007 and has since gained invaluable experience in the areas of software sales and marketing. She hopes to apply this experience in her role as Marketing Manager and use her marketing ‘spin’ skills to propel Magnus Health to become the nationally recognized leader in the area of online student medical records management.
Outside of work, you’ll probably find Amy snuggling up to her adorable Chihuahua, Tank, traveling to the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains or sandy beaches of the Outer Banks, watching movies, trying new restaurants, or organizing…everything!
