20 Feb How to add a Magnus Health login link to your school’s website
At Magnus, we spend a lot of time thinking of ways to make schools’ and parents’ lives simple. One of our favorite tools to accomplish that goal is our easy-to-use parent portal, MyMagnus. When parents need to fill out or update their child(ren)’s health information, they can do so by signing in to their secure Magnus Health account via MyMagnus.com.
To make logging in even easier for parents, we recommend putting a link on your school’s website (if you are not already using one of our software integrations). By adding a link to your website that directs parents to log in to their Magnus Health account, you save parents time and reduce the number of phone calls to your school’s health and technology departments.
But enough about how wonderful it is. Let’s get started with our three steps to add a Magnus Health login link to your school’s website.
Step 1: Choose a template.
Staying within the theme of making things easier, we’ve created two templates for you to use on your school’s website. Both include a Magnus Health logo and login link, and both direct parents straight to the Magnus Health login page.
Start by choosing which template you prefer to use (the only difference is the Magnus logo!). The code for each template is shown directly below each one. If you like the way a template looks, go ahead and copy the code, then paste it in your school’s selected webpage. Voila!

Template 1 – “M logo”

Step 2: Adjust your template size.
You can adjust how wide your template is by adjusting the width. The template has a set width at 100%, but you could change it to 50% (or any other number between 1 and 100), which would make Template 1 look like this:

Step 3: Edit your login link text.
When parents arrive at your school’s website, how do you want to direct them to Magnus Health? Our template includes login link text that says, “Go to Magnus Health – Secure Student Medical Record.” But, you can decide what exactly you want the login text to say. Our suggestions include:
- Go to Magnus Health – Secure Student Medical Record
- Log in to Magnus Health account
- Login link to access Magnus Health account
- Submit student health forms via Magnus Health Secure Student Medical Record
- Access Magnus Health account

Step 4: Add your custom code to your school’s website.
You’re all set! As a reminder, you can always copy a template code from Step 1, then paste it in your school’s website. Or, you can edit the width (Step 2) and/or edit the login link text (Step 3) of your selected template. If you decide to make changes to the width and/or login link text, you will only need to change the portions of the template that are highlighted in orange in Steps 2 and 3.
Now you can take your code and add it to your school’s website!
