Introducing the Magnus Health Leader of the Year Award
Every school has someone like them — the nurse who knows every student by name, the athletic trainer who stays late to make sure every athlete is cleared and cared for, the counselor who keeps a door open long after the bell rings. These are the people who hold school communities together, often without much fanfare.
This year, we want to change that.
Magnus Health is proud to introduce the Magnus Health Leader of the Year Award — a new recognition honoring the school health leaders who go above and beyond for students every single day. Launching in celebration of National School Nurses Day on May 6, this award is open to nominations by private and independent K–12 school employees across the nation — and you don’t need to be a Magnus Health user to submit a nomination!
We’re looking to recognize individuals who demonstrate exceptional care for students, strong leadership in their school health program, innovation in how they manage student health, and an unwavering commitment to student wellbeing.
Here’s how it works:
- Now through May 6 — Staff and/or faculty at any private or independent K–12 school can nominate up to 2 health champions from their school via the form on this page.
- May 13 — An internal panel selects 10 finalists and public voting opens. Each finalist will receive a $50 wellness gift basket and a formal certificate of recognition from Magnus Health.
- May 31 — Public voting closes. The 3 individuals with the most votes are named Magnus Health Leaders of the Year, each receiving a $750 grant for their school health office and a formal certificate of recognition.
