Magnus Health SMR, WhippleHill Podium Integration

The Magnus Health, WhippleHill partnership and integration has changed the way nurses and administrators navigate school health software.  Integration provides an easier, more streamlined approach, benefiting schools and parents alike.  Over the past year, Magnus Health has successfully performed numerous installs with WhippleHill schools and has several more slated for 2012.  Phase I of the integration provided single sign-on (SSO) as well as account provisioning, saving time for all parties involved.

Clients using both WhippleHill and Magnus Health SMR can take advantage of the integration by requesting the add-on from WhippleHill.  WhippleHill single sign-on reduces password fatigue among users and decreases the volume of password-related phone calls to the IT department.  Account provisioning ensures that Magnus Health accounts are automatically created for parents with a WhippleHill login, but without an existing Magnus Health login.  Reducing the number of steps and logins for parents greatly reduces the hassle with software for school nurses, and further streamlines the collection of medical records for schools.

Phase II of the integration ensures students and parents are completely provisioned upon signing into their Magnus accounts. Additionally, a full one-way sync from the WhippleHill Podium to Magnus Health’s SMR, updates parent and student information as it changes throughout the year. Schools have the ability to import a roster into SMR with the push of a button, automatically creating all parent and student accounts. This enables schools to realize the immediate benefits of using a web-based SMR solution to communicate with parents and collect critical health information securely and efficiently.
