Whooping cough is at it again this year.  We blogged about the epidemic last year, and now Iowa is taking action.

As of Wednesday, “Iowa officials are making a one-time booster shot for whooping cough a requirement for school enrollment,” reported the Sioux City ABC affiliate. The new requirement applies to rising seventh graders, and any other students born after September 15, 2000.
