SMR Collaborates with Pearson’s PowerSchool

BREAKING NEWS: I can officially disclose to you that we have collaborated with the K-12 Technology group of Pearson, the global leader in education and learning technology. SMR and PowerSchool will officially be working together!Magnus Pearson Integration

Magnus Health will serve as an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) to provide single sign-on integration, easing the burden on parents with children at schools using both Pearson and Magnus Health SMR. More than 12 million students in thousands of schools across the country use Pearson’s student information system (SIS) PowerSchool, the most popular SIS on the market.

“We’re thrilled with our new relationship with PowerSchool. Great collaborations are always exciting, and this one has us looking forward to expanding our public school client base. Together with PowerSchool, we’ll provide schools with a complete health center solution that allows users and data to flow efficiently,” said Chas Scarantino, CEO of Magnus Health.

“Collaborating with Magnus Health extends and enhances PowerSchool’s capabilities in the area of student health record management and compliance,” said Luyen Chou, Chief Product Officer at Pearson. “This added functionality will help our customers track and manage student medical records more efficiently.”

Schools using Pearson and Magnus Health will see the biggest benefits in the Magnus emergency module, Magnus911, which ensures that student medical information is available in an emergency. School staff and emergency personnel can access Magnus911 and deliver critical student health information to the point of care quickly, easily, and securely. From an on campus attack, to a sports injury, to a food allergy, no emergency is too big or too small for Magnus911.
