Magnus Spotlight – Candice, Operations Coordinator

Rounding out the Magnus Health Employee of the Quarter recipients for the year 2017, we’d like to recognize Candice, our Operations Coordinator. Candice is a jack of all trades. You can find her in all parts of the office lending a helping hand. She works closely with our Directors and Managers to keep the Magnus mission statement at the forefront of everything they do, while also coordinating Finance Operations and spearheading many other interdepartmental projects and meetings. Learn more about Candice from our conversation with her below!

First, tell us how long you’ve been working at Magnus:
I just passed my 4-year work-versary with Magnus Health!

What is your role at Magnus? Were you in a different role previously?
Currently, I am the Operations Coordinator which allows me to don a few hats around the office. I started at Magnus in 2013 as a Records Specialist and was given the opportunity to become the Records Manager about a year later.

What is your favorite aspect of your job?
I love helping to build new solutions for people in the Salesforce database. Every feature allows me to learn new aspects of Salesforce to better help our business grow.

What do you enjoy most about working at Magnus?
The people I work closely with.They are fun, quirky people that work hard every day.

What three words describe you?
Meticulous, creative, observant.

Which day of the work week are you most productive?
Wednesday for sure. By that point, I’m in the groove for the week.

Before Magnus, what was the most unusual/interesting job you’ve ever had?
The most interesting job I had was being a Seasonal Intern with the CIA. Some interesting people to work with and I would say more, but I’ve been sworn to secrecy.

What’s one thing you couldn’t live without?
Burt’s Bees Lip Balm (all the flavors except the original) all the way.

Favorite activities on your days off?
Reading a good book. I try to set myself a quota of 13 books a year!

What other hobbies do you have?
Running, knitting, and watching films with friends.

Favorite line from a movie?
